Having done a quick google it seems that Boots wont sell them and I would rather not order them online.

This is a really bad idea. If your body excretes ketones it is approaching the dangerous state of ketoacidosis, exactly the same condition as undiagnosed diabetics. Please don't mess with your health in this way. No wonder Boots wont sell them

Blood and urine ketones in absence of high blood glucose is nutritional ketosis. High ketones and high blood glucose ketoacidosis.

Pyong last time I was low carbing I asked in a couple of chemists and neither would sell them to me.

I know you've said you'd rather not get them online, but I got some on Amazon. I haven't bothered getting any for this Bootcamp though.

You really don't need them, but I did buy some out of curiosity. Got them from Amazon, the Bayer brand is clinical grade (as may the others be, I just know about the Bayer ones). But remember - you don't need to be in ketosis for LCFH to work, plus if you are drinking adequately, your urine may be too dilute for them to be accurate anyway.

I follow a ketogenic way of eating and test for blood ketones using a meter I bought on eBay called On Call ketone blood monitor
You can also get the strips on there too, cheapest place I found them
