Alpro Soya Light so no carbs.. Heated in the micro for about a minute and a half, added coffee (not aribica as this curdles the milk).

Looks like coffee

Tastes like shit :o

OK, not quiet that bad but it will take some getting used to and I am not sure whether simply giving up my latte would be worse! Any tips on making it more palatable would be gratefully received!

I know it's not the same, but could you make one using watered down cream instead of milk? (DF is a cappuccino fan: he's accepted coffee with cream as a substitute very ungraciously Grin)

I do have coffee with cream and thats fine so I could give that a try, didnt cross my mind :o

There's a hideous recipe somewhere for "bullet proof" coffee, which involves cream and butter or something equally rank... (I'm just jealous as I never am in the position of needing to up my intake Grin) : I'm sure it's on the BC recipe thread. Or- coffee and cream Grin

I sometimes make coffee with espresso, hot soya milk and double cream and it's lovely.

LaLaLanded · 15/05/2018 08:27

Try almond milk? It’s far less rank than soya in my opinion. Hey the alpro unsweetened - it’s not ‘no’ carb, but close enough that you can have a latte.

bruffin · 15/05/2018 08:30

why , soya milk is disgusting and carbs are not bad for you.
