Hi there,

I’ve been reading all the MN low carb boot camp stuff this week - so inspirational. I usually eat low carb but forgot quite a few essential facts (including DON’T eat carbs GrinConfused). Have gained quite a lot after lots of comfort eating after a miscarriage so will join one of the boards it’s that’s okay.

Anyway, I have these in my store cupboard - can I eat them? Somewhere in my head I remember something about carbs and fibre and net carbs and total carbs?

Thank you in advance - so kind!

Help please! Is this edemame fettucini low carb?

His @mittensofsteel I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

I think to be considered low carb it should be 5g of carbs per 100g, so I don't think they are technically low carb. Saying that I don't think it is terrible. I did the recent bootcamp and was aiming for 20g of carbs per day but am in maintenance now so not as strict so would probably consider a small portion of this.

In the bootcamp thread on the first page there is a spreadsheet for the rules of low carbing so that might help to kick-start you.

Hope that helps!
