Help! Self sabotage...

I read with interest all about the boot camp way. Week 1 was a success- for the first time in a long time I could resist snacks and overeating.
Less than half way through week 2 I began to skip- eating cashews and then falling into the “I will start again tomorrow so will eat carbs today”...

Why? Why do I do it to myself when I know I have NO self control when eating “normally”?

Any tips to overcome this? Anyone who has experienced overeating or emotional eating then managed to stick to low carb and banish those demons?

Hi op I’m certainly no expert but in the past I’ve ruined my woe and fallen into the trap of eating easy things which become boring, and that is followed by falling off the wagon. This time I’m planning my meals, I’ve used the ubercamp on the bootcamp spreadsheet as a template and I’m now moving on to recipes. For me this is making all the difference, rather than grabbing a handful of nuts or chunk of cheese in place of a meal, and thinking that’ll do! Maybe some menu planning would help you stick with it?

Definitely meal plans would help. And changing my mindset to it being a way of eating too. Thank you.

You’re welcome and good luck. So many people are so successful, I’m sure we can be too! I think too it will be harder to suddenly binge on carby foods if you’re already full - from your meals and lots and lots of water. That’s my plan anyway!
