Because it tastes so nice?

Adrifty86 · 16/01/2018 20:55

Oh ok Grin I thought it might be for a health reason!

Olive oil is not recommended for cooking any more is it? I thought I read it broke down into unhealthy things when heating?

Well I thought that might be it but I have found very conflicting information on it all. That's definitely true for sunflower oil etc. but I've just read a study where they 'cooked' extra virgin olive oil for 36 hours and it didn't break down in to those bad fats.

I believe coconut oil is considered the healthy option for cooking at high temperatures. I like the flavour - not too strong.
