Looking for bootcamp light friendly yoghurt accompaniments. So far I have tried:
Cinnamon
Strawberries
Raspberries
Cacao nibs
Double cream

Any other ideas?

I made the low carb granola on the diet Dr website - basically lots of bird and seeds whizzed up with vanilla and cinnamon and baked. delicious and very filling - I only have 1tbsp at a time on top of my yoghurt.

Chipsandonionrings · 13/06/2017 13:57

haha. obvs not birds but nuts! although would add extra protein

PutThatPomBearBack · 13/06/2017 14:41

Oats , honey and blueberries. Soooo good.

SayrraT · 13/06/2017 17:34

Except that oats, blueberries and honey are not low carb!

YellowLawn · 13/06/2017 17:37

chives
cucumber&garlic
herbs de provence & tomatos
chilli flakes and peppers

BIWI · 14/06/2017 22:32

vanilla bean paste (just a small amount, as it is sweet)
peanut butter, along with vanilla is a fabulous combination, but it is quite carby

Cherrypi · 15/06/2017 17:25

Flaked almonds is my favourite.

ShastaBeast · 15/06/2017 23:35

Half a lemon squeezed with some grated lemon zest. Extra yummy with thick cream.

BootCampSucker · 15/06/2017 23:40

I'm having Greek yoghurt, mango and pomegranate seeds for breakfast every morning at the moment. Love it.

MelanieCheeks · 15/06/2017 23:43

Nuts and seeds!

Almond flakes and a few strawberries

Walnuts with cinnamon

Cucumber and pinenuts.

GoodyGoodyGumdrops · 15/06/2017 23:47

Chopped toasted hazelnuts, cocoa powder and sea salt flakes.

Mixed seeds (Waitrose do a bag of sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and linseed), zaatar and olive oil.

Pesto!

Cherrypi · 17/06/2017 10:18

Hmm yum. Not sure about pesto though.

Hi everyone,

I want to eat smoked salmon with full fat cheese from Aldi and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a low carb cracker to put them on?! I loved the fatty crackers in the black box that they do.

What is the best app for iPhone for tracking steps?

When you are having greek yoghurt for breakfast, what portion size are you having?

Thanks a lot.

TittyGolightly · 24/06/2017 19:00

I have 120g full fat Greek yogurt with 5g ground flaxseed and 80g frozen berries.

Occasionally I sauté some apple and pear in butter and have that on it with loads of cinnamon.

There's a paleo chocolate granola I make that's gorgeous but ridiculously high in calories, so I might just have a spoonful to add crunch.

TittyGolightly · 24/06/2017 19:00

Google flaxseed crackers. They're just flax and water and cooked in the microwave. Quite nice.

April19 · 24/06/2017 22:31

Thanks so much for the quick reply TittyGolightly !

Cherrypi · 25/06/2017 15:42

Ooh I might try sautéing rhubarb like that. Yum.

Ooh - I've got a low-carb greek yoghurt question.

Is it OK to have vanilla flavoured Greek yoghurt? Store bought, not flavoured at home with vanilla extract, if that matters.

If not, maybe I need to try some of the options suggested here.

BIWI · 25/06/2017 15:53

I doubt it - usually they add sugar as well. Check the back of the pack for the nutritional info.

TittyGolightly · 25/06/2017 16:05

Not usually a good option, no.

TittyGolightly · 25/06/2017 16:11

Ooh I might try sautéing rhubarb like that. Yum.

I add orange zest and a tiny touch of water to mine. Delish .

Earlybird · 28/06/2017 22:34

Biwi and Tittygolightly - , I checked the sugar content of vanilla flavoured Greek yoghurt, and you are correct. It is LOADED with sugar. So, i'll be crossing that off the list.....blah.

poisonedbypen · 28/06/2017 22:42

A scooped out passion fruit & flaked almonds. Yum
