Morning all. Sorry for the later than usual thread, but I'm away at the moment/1

Anyway, here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

As we've now completed the first two, more strict, weeks of Bootcamp you have a choice. You can move on to Bootcamp Light, (rules are on the spreadsheet tabs), which essentially means you can add in a few nuts/seeds, and some fruit (berries, and strictly in moderation), and you can have alcohol occasionally.

However, if you haven't really done Bootcamp strictly enough, or you cheated, or just because you think it's going well, you can stay on Bootcamp. (If you do, though, please make sure your carbs are mainly coming from vegetables and salad, to make sure that you're getting a good balance of nutrition)

Alternatively, you can do Bootcamp during the week but Bootcamp Light at the weekend. The choice is yours.

However, there is one thing I have to warn you about. Weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little or no weight loss. If this happens to you, please don't panic! Just keep on keeping on and things will start to move again.

After initial big losses in the first couple of weeks, you can't feasibly expect to see that continue, and you should that weight loss settles down at around 1-3lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose.

Good luck all! Flowers

Good on you regular!

Thanks gcal, I did wonder if I'd read that right! I did read about acv on last bootcamp but never bought any, is there a brand that you recommend?

WanHeda · 03/06/2016 20:57

well done regular!

BIWI · 03/06/2016 21:02

Sorry to hear about your chicks Titsa, how dreadful Flowers
Regular that's a great effort, well done!
Wan your dinner looks great, I'm going to try that too.
I went to my mum's house today and she made us coffee and accidentally give me hers (black with one sugar). I took a little sip and it tasted horribly sweet - unpleasant even, when a couple of weeks ago I would only have had coffee black with sugar. Amazing change to my sense of taste and this is only one aspect of it!

regularbutpanickingabit · 03/06/2016 21:34

Thank you!

lexloofah · 03/06/2016 21:42

Whoop, whoop regular I will be at a family party on Sunday and i have already asked for strawberries and cream instead of cake so hoping I can do the same

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2016 21:48

I managed to make my own home made biscuits last week, but have not been remotely tempted by them. Ds has been eating them all (and a friend had one when she called round).

I couldn't have imagined that before Bootcamp! Grin

Gcalgske · 03/06/2016 21:51

neko I like Biona but anything unfiltered with the mother is good.
Great for sore throats, mouth ulcers etc.its magic stuff!

Well done regular

I normally have a Big Mac Meal, no bun, no sauce, extra pickles and get a side salad instead of fries. They are just lettuce, cherry toms and a bit of grated carrot but much nicer than the 'salads' IMHO with a vinegarette dressing and mayo.

Gcalgske · 03/06/2016 21:53

Lovely dinner

2x Debbie and Andrews sausages with a sort of warm salad of green beans, asparagus, caramelised shallot, chilli, butter, olive oil, ACV. Mmmmmmmmm

Might have licked the plate.

Brilliant regular !
I'm slightly tempted by the royster crisps that my MIL bought my son tonight . I will resist though .
My back is a bit sore . I dunno if anyone likes tattoos but I'll show you and remove it in a couple of days . I have all my stomach done as well . It covered up all my stretch marks and worked way better than I thought it would . I'm so pleased the six pounds I've lost as always comes of my top half so my love handles have gone . Bum and thighs soon please !

Xoticdreamz · 03/06/2016 22:17

Top rose was done a few months ago , the other three on wed .

Flisspaps · 03/06/2016 22:20

Those butterflies are particularly fab Xotic.

Sorry to hear about your chicks Titsalina :(

MothershipG · 03/06/2016 22:46

That's beautiful work Xotic, love the shadows under the butterflies, really makes them 'pop'. I was going to get a tattoo to mark my half century but chickened out Grin still fascinated by them, maybe I'll have worked up the resolve when I hit 60. GrinGrinGrin

BIWI I asked for a vinaigrette dressing and they brought me oil and balsamic and said that's all they do. Hmm The salad was still very tasty but poss a bit low on fat.

Gcalgske · 03/06/2016 23:02

Love them xotic - I've got quite a few. I got a new little one last week as a tribute to my dad. It's Leonard Cohen's unified Hearts.

Coconut oil, eat it, spread it on the tattoo. Helps with the itch.

God, found it so hard to eat today. I've had:

Brunch: hard boiled egg and Turkish yogurt
Dinner: marinated vegetables with salad
Snacks: mini brie and spoon of peanut butter.

And about 6 cups of herbal tea.

Gcalgske · 03/06/2016 23:13

The pink and purple one is a transfer on my 3 year old who demanded a 'tattoon' like mummy. Grin

Veryflummoxed · 03/06/2016 23:20

That is amazing XoticAnd yes the butterflies look as if they've perched there. Your unified heart is very special Gcal

Gcalgske · 03/06/2016 23:23

Playnice are you coming down with something or just not hungry? That's not a lot of food Sad

CiderwithBuda · 03/06/2016 23:35

Third Friday in a row where I didn't have wine. Considered it. DH was having red. As I was tidying kitchen after dinner I told myself I could have one. But then realized I would be pretty pissed off at myself and that I was only wanting it from habit. So I had another glass of water! You have no idea what a change that is for me!

I'm out tomorrow night so will have a couple of gins with slimline.

Going to a restaurant called Wildwood. Just checked menu out and I think I'm going to have the cheeseburger, no bun and the rocket and parmesan salad.

Food today was good.

B - strawberries and blueberries with cream
L tuna concoction. Still bland.

D chicken curry - DH made it and it's really good. Had with cauliflower rice.
S strawberries and blueberries with the last couple of spoonfuls of cream

Not buying cream again! I know I said that last week too.

bettyblueeyes83 · 04/06/2016 00:12

Mixed day. Felt really good all day and went to great yoga class at new gym. Feel like my appetite is in control in a way it hasn't been for a long time, even when I'm ravenously hungry I know I will survive if I don't eat immediately, whereas with carb hunger in ready to kill someone for food. But there were surprise carbs in my lunch and I had two small glasses of wine (visiting family), so I'm way over on the carbs, which I'm annoyed about. Got to keep the carbs low enough tomorrow to hope for a loss on Monday!!

B: FF Greek yoghurt with double cream, flaxseeds and chia seeds, vanilla powder
L: Leon chargrilled chicken aoili salad with extra aoili (a rushed and late lunch at King's Cross - the picture looked like just chicken and salad - but it came with a small amount of quinoa and peas in!! I tried my best to eat round them...)
D: Prawn cocktail with baby gem, rump steak with avocado butter and salad
S: cappuccino, almonds, two small glass white wine

Eating at my mum's proved easy tonight, I just offered to cook the steak recipe I learnt this week and they happily accepted. Couldn't finish steak, I left half, it was a shame as it was beautiful but I was really full and my mind recognised it and I just stopped (not a familiar feeling for me). But I know the quinoa, peas, cappuccino, and wine are not good!

ReggaeShark · 04/06/2016 07:18

Everyone's doing so well with imaginative food. Will plan a couple of menus for next week and shop accordingly.

B: no breakfast as had a lie in ( half term coming to an end)
L: Tuna mayo roll ups in romaine Lettuce. Radishes
D: night out. Fortunately Turkish restaurant so very lc friendly. Grilled king prawns in olive oil chilli dressing. Grilled chicken kebab on a bed of garlicky aubergine puree with lots of olive oil, rocket. Avoided the fresh Turkish bread but had wine during the evening.
H20: loads and loads

Hoping still less than 20g of carbs as calculated the wine was 11g. It was a one-off though and planned (I don't get out much).

BIWI · 04/06/2016 08:12

Cider I'm very impressed by your willpower in resisting the wine!

Mothership that's really irritating. All you're asking for is another dressing, and I can't believe that the kitchen doesn't have wine vinegar as well as balsamic! I did have to explain what I wanted more than twice to our waiter, but when he finally understood what I wanted, that was what I got.

DoingItForMyselfAtLast · 04/06/2016 09:04

I have a question. Am I sabotaging myself? Looking at the lovely food pics being posted and I'm thinking gosh, I'd still be hungry after that. I would typically be having at least twice the amount of veg that is being shown. I need my plate to look 'full' if you get what I mean. Should I be aiming for similar portions? I thought all the veg you can eat was a good thing, but am now beginning to wonder if I'm making a twat of myself Blush

DoingItForMyselfAtLast · 04/06/2016 09:06

Oh, and love your butterflies Xotic, they're so colourful.

BIWI · 04/06/2016 09:07

Well, it's difficult to say without seeing your food/plate!

However, if you need to see a full plate to feel satisfied, then that would suggest that you do have a rather disordered view of food. You should be eating enough to satiate you not just for the sake of it.

And 'all the veg you can eat' isn't necessarily what low carbing is about - that's where you should be getting your carbs from, but if you're eating huge amounts of veg rather than fat and protein, then you'll be eating a diet which is actually too high in carbs.

Why don't you try weighing your portions for a few meals, and working out how many carbs you're eating?

And how much fat/protein are you putting on your plate?
