Morning campers!

come and confess all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Five weeks for me till I go off to Oz, so really have to knuckle down. 'Sadly' I have two social events to navigate this week, so that will make things tricky.

Enjoyed a fabulous (if I say so myself!) dinner last night - fillet steak, which I'd marinated in oil/vinegar for 20 minutes, griddled for just a couple of minutes on either side, so beautifully rare, with a mixed salad (butterhead lettuce, which I love) and a shallot vinaigrette. Could eat that all over again for breakfast!

I have a joint of pork to roast and some lamb shanks to cook in the slow cooker this week.

Hope you all have a good week

I didn't lose last week but started a bit late and have pootled a bit so I'm probably week 3-4 which makes it understandable. Even so I am half a stone down since 1st Oct which can only be good

I have even coped with DD doing SW, requesting things be cooked in Fry Light instead of lovely coconut oil and filling my fridge with processed low fat shite

Q: how do you know when you are fat adapted?

A: when you open a fresh pack of butter and inhale deeply! Love the smell of President Unsalted! Big tsp of it in my hot marmite mmmmm

You can make your own BIWI by mixing softened butter with rock or sea salt.

Sts this week but I'm blaming my DH for tempting me with booze, snacks and dark chocolate.

Chester great photos, you have a lovely flat tummy.
I am 5'2" - and a quarter! I used to think I was 5' 2.5" and would round round up to 5' 3", until I made the mistake of remeasuring my height last year Shock Not sure if I've always got it wrong or whether I am shrinking.
Billionaire Flowers 12 lbs is fab, koko as it'll be worth it in the end.

Well, we were going to have chicken and spinach curry with cauli race last night, but DH forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer. There wasn't a lot of food in, as I have an internet shop coming tonight, so we had a fry up of eggs, bacon, mushrooms and celeriac. it was nice, but I'd been looking forward to the curry.

Today:
B - scrambled eggs with butter and cheese, 2 coffee with cream
L - mackerel pate, lettuce and an oopsie roll - jury is still out on those
D - chicken and spinach curry with cauli rice as I did take the chicken out today
S - ff yogurt, spicy chai latter with almond milk and cream, maybe 10g 85% choc

BIWI glad I am not the only one Smile, will look for some Brittany butter as off to waitrose tmrw, never thought I would become a butter connoisseur, hopefully won't turn into a butter snob!

B - 2 slices corned beef topped with 2 fried eggs, cuppa, buttery marmite
L - leaves with hm avocado olive oil dressing, parma ham, brie spread with butter, cucumber, sq 90% choc
D - will be slow cooker lamb stew (using neck fillet for the first time), just baked some 'dumplings' to go with it to warm up later from an American recipe for what they call biscuits but not like our biscuits - they use ground flaxseed, almond flour, baking powder, butter and egg whites and I added salt and dried thyme- I calculated max 3g carbs for the total mix which made 6 smallish dumplings so 0.5 each and I will have 2 or 3

B: vanilla coyo
L: buttery chicken soup with spinach
D: not sure yet Grin

wombat I think I've spent more time walking to and from the bathroom than actually sat down today. I don't particularly enjoy drinking this much water Grin

I did not know that existed ewan I make such a hideous mess when I blitz cauli in the food processor, is that micro pouch? I know Tesco sell cauli rice but it still has to be decanted into a saucepan!

Wombatinabathhat · 17/11/2015 17:41

That is fantastic Ewan I've searched Tesco [and everywhere else] but never managed to find grated cauli.
I made my own once and it was disgusting.

Thanks for all the wise words everyone. Stopped feeling sorry for myself now Blush and got a grip! Thinking about long term is a good strategy Biwi. Chester those pics are great - it is weird isn't it because my shape is definitely looking a lot better so I guess the scales didn't match my expectations? The cauli rice in the pouch was fine, it had a bit of an odd whiff and taste about it but was OK when mixed with a strong flavoured dish (I'd poached my cod in a ginger broth)

Euugh, feeling a bit rubbish today, throaty and glandy and a bit pants. Gutted as its DS' actual birthday and we have got fun stuff planned for later. Will soldier on as only us mums can do

Scales are still stuck, but feeling a bit slimmer. Come on you bastard Whoosh Fairy, give me a break!

Today's plan:
B: eggs, butter, avocado
L: might just have a BPC as not feeling the love for food
D: off out for birthday tea. Planning on a chicken and mozzarella salad with olive oil dressing and a big glass of wine

Was planning on a run but that's not happening today. Freezing cold and v windy here so I am staying put!
