I've read Briffa's Escape the diet trap but I've started exercising and keen to find out more about how low-carbing actually works with exercise etc. Can anyone give me some suggestions (or a list for DH to get me for Christmas Grin ) thanks

Phinney and Volek who wrote The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living have also written one on low carb performance. I have read the first and it was very informative. Haven't read the second but have heard decent revues.

Yes - The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance it's called. It's a really good book.

I'd also recommend Gary Taubes book, The Diet Delusion.
