From previous experience, the first few weeks of Bootcamp chat threads move very quickly, so having a thread dedicated to questions means that you stand more chance of getting an answer quickly!

So if you have any specific questions, post them here.

I didn't have them BIWI, had a chicken breat stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in ham instead

And they sound lovely and much nicer than sausages!!!

Just to say am well stocked up on Black Farmer - as they were on offer on ocado - they are delicious! ( but obviously processed..)

They are - but much less so than 'ordinary' sausages, and every now and then they are fine - and only 1g carbs per 100g!

Hello. Just joined and thanks for all the really helpful advice.

How much fat as a % on MFP which seems to be a useful app? Today I was 40% Fat 50% Protein 10% Carb (all from low carb veg). It seems to count calories which I don't need it to do but it was 1450 in any case.

Also, used to do IPD. Does anyone remember the amazing Bee and her recipes? I found the book today and will try some of them out once I have got my head round things after a few years "off".

BIWI · 19/10/2014 12:44

You need to up your fat. The ratios should be fat:protein:carbs

And yes, no need to count calories!

Welcome to Bootcamp. (Where you don't actually need to count anything, as long as you follow the rules Grin)

If you fall off the BC wagon. Does it put you back to square one wrt ketosis?

pootlebug · 18/11/2014 10:45

If you fall off the wagon once, you should return to ketosis within 48 hours or so. If you fall off the wagon regularly, you won't really do ketosis at all and it will have a much more significant impact.
