Is there any point applying for a housemistress job at an independent school, as a single parent with a toddler?
I suppose it wouldn't work...

Could be tricky...
Who would look after your toddler when you were on duty?
When I was at school, the job was a pretty full time for both the housemaster and housemistress (husband and wife) together.
