My friend wants to be self employed as an interpreter.
But she doesn't know how to do it.
She is on state benefits now and wants to come off it.
She doesn't know how to start.
First of all, she thinks she needs to have enough interpreting job to be self employed in that area, maybe at least avarage 16 hrs per week.
But when she starts applying for such jobs it will be so irregular income, she can't manage to live on that as self employed.
At what point can she claim to be self employed?
There is no information about that anywhere.
What can she do?
