Go and talk to the Head. They often have some discretion under difficult circumstances.

Pay in installments, or put fees on low interest credit card?

Speak to the bursar - s/he will definitely be able to help.

Good luck

how will you be supporting yourselves?
as you will likely be on jobseekers...how will you then afford school uniform/trips/transport etc...

Schools do often face this situation, and a friend of mine who works closely with the bursarial staff says that the worse thing parents can do is not tell the school and delay payment. It's much better to go to the school, explain your financial situation and see what they can do.

If you can't afford the fees, please don't start using credit cards to pay - that sounds like the road to bankruptcy to me.

Also loook at holmwoods fees plan - they let you pay fees by dd over 12 months. They pay fees up front to school and you pay them - makes it a bit more manageable.

childs father refuses to pay anything but £21.80 a month for him. and his opion is that people like us don,t go to private school. so hates him being there. turns up at the childs school shouting and demanding that child be brought out of class to see him.whilst in lessons.so no joy in asking him really. was thinking of doing alot of car boot sales for extra cash.
