Finally sent an email to XH saying I'm fed up of no maintenance and will be contacting CSA waiting for backlash

Title says it all! Have posted on here before. XH is a slacker, walked out of job 8 mths ago, not looked for another job. Not paid maintenance. Asked him in Jan when it would start again (still now working). Have finally sent email telling him I'm contacting CSA - he'll go nuts. Waiting for the backlash now

tough...let him!!

you will only get £5 weekly from his benefits anyway. if he's on them

mamas12 · 18/03/2010 10:43

Hello
I suggest go easy on yourself and only answere emails.
Do not speak to him directly, or get into an argument/discussion about it. No explainations or justifications.
He was warned and has had enough time to do something about it so now you have to do this.
Good luck and stay strong by not engaging. Hard I know but it will be better for you to do it this way.
Let CSA deal with him now.

SingleMum01 · 18/03/2010 10:47

TBB - yes he's on benefits. Yes its only £5 a week and won't even pay for 3 school meals but its the principle now.

Does the rest of his family know? I think a little information exchange regarding this might be in order too.

SingleMum01 · 18/03/2010 10:58

I have very little to do with his family, apart from them coming over at Xmas. They are very much on my side though anyway, maybe next time I see them I'll drop it out!

I would, Could you just keep them up to date re: informing csa aswell. Say what you've said here, you don't want to but you have to, need support and he is not supplying any.
Pressure from them might help. He will not like ti but don't engage!

SingleMum01 · 18/03/2010 11:03

is there a site i can find out his exact address - I think I know the number and will know which it is on a map, but want to make sure. He won't be registered to vote or anything.

Ask his family, I'm sure they will be surprised you don't know.
As to a site I don't know sorry.

SingleMum01 · 18/03/2010 11:24

or do I need to know his exact address anyway as I know the town where he signs on?

shelleylou · 18/03/2010 11:38

if you can giev the address it saves the CSA time trying to track him down etc but you dont have to give them it if you dont know it

GypsyMoth · 18/03/2010 11:42

they can get it from benefits agency....its very easy!

mrsmharket · 18/03/2010 12:11

i reported x to csa and it was the best thing i ever did. there are some horrendous stories about them but i have to say that when i had to contact them, they were very quick.
this link takes you to a google page where there are lots of links to various csa sites.

OMG - he's just emailed me back to say go ahead, its our DS thats important. Someone must have hacked into his computer, can't believe he's being reasonable.

hey singlemum, i left my email addy on the other thread, not sure if you had seen it. just incase you fancy getting together [email protected]

mamas12 · 19/03/2010 07:06

It always throws you when he reacts with the normal reasonable response to anything.
Goes to show what a jerk and abnormal life you were living with.
Good luck

SingleMum01 · 19/03/2010 13:53

Hiya Fairy, thanks I've emailed you x

Time to think he's being reasonable when he gets a job to support them properly.

SingleMum01 · 21/03/2010 19:49

Tanga - unfortunately I don't think that will happen.

He collected/dropped off DS today and I was expecting him not to speak to me - he actually spoke to me and asked if I was okay - they're a strange breed that I just can't understand!
