Not sure how I feel about it though, as I have a fun packed weekend planned.

Am wondering if shitface the ex will bother with getting me anything from the dcs?

ex def wont get me anything from dc's. they are too young to get anything themselves (or even note the occasion)

so.... i'm going away for the wkd and leaving them with ex... present to myself

mine are with ex. I will be going out with the girls they have got me a present off the internet with their dad, it is waiting to be opened

My mum won't be spending it with mebecause she us on holiday, lol

Well my kid's went to their Dad's yesterday, but are back by 3pm today so I guess that's not so bad.
I did feel quite down yesterday though after kids went, and plus my boyfriend seems to be acting off with me, says I'm lovely but he is dealing with some issues of his own atm so I decided to go and get my nails done and I brought a new dress to wear to this family party I had to go to last nite (initially felt awkward going because everyone else would have their kids there but I wouldn't), anyway it turned out fine so glad I went in the end!
will be nice to have kids back home though later- can't wait to see them!

yep me too. DS sleeps at his dad's every saturday night and I didn't want to break routine for him so sent him off there anyway. Will be shocked if I receive anything on ex's behalf and not too fussed, DS made me a nice card and chose me a plant/flower at school mother's day workshop.

If DS were here I would have been up earlier as no other adult about so never mind. Think he will be back around lunchtime.

well I woke up alone. off to get ds in a minute, & he has a party lol. still not to worry - it's jsut another sunday.
