i feel like they are escaping of us.
whenever for example it is holiday times they just disappear, their communication becomes less, maybe they dont want to be in the position to invite us, other times they say 'oh we are family, oh you are my best friend', 'why dont you call-visit us?' etc.
when i invite they create strange-stupid-some times hurtful (they dont know) reasons.
i feel confused by their behaviour, but today i got that conclusion, and i think i know my-our place now.
is it too pessimistic?

I wouldn't take it personally. It's only natural for mummy and daddy to go away with the kids at holiday time. Trouble is- it's hard for us single parents as it's a reminder of what we don't have.
Most of my married friends are lovely to me but I respect that they have family time at weekends etc so we have our family time too.

Also - couples will stick to their boring dinner party scene but hey- why not try and meet some single mums and start your own dinner party cirit for single mums?
