ach.. come on now sponge... you have to share what his date stories were?

bunny boilers? or is he typical of "all my ex's were nutters"

oh... and another with deceiving teeth

how bad were the bad teeth? are we talking black and missing, just a bit wonky? or massive gums

Morning ladies, thanks for asking, no I haven't heard from ds yet. grr. I spoke to his dad earlier so will touch base with him if there's no sign. I honestly don't know what I can do but wait, but for how long? And what do I do then?

I forgot our kdk on my round-up.

So addendum to round-up:

Kdk - remains completely disillusioned with London fellas and has immersed herself in studying. lol

Cleaning, cooking, washing here, shopping later. Grrr

Monty100 · 20/03/2010 11:54

Forgot to say ds doesn't have a mobile with him as they are banned from his school. But he was under instructions to phone from his friend's house the minute he got there so I could have the phone number and address.

SingleMum01 · 20/03/2010 12:16

Morning everyone, made the mistake of telling my mum last night when she was babysitting I was out on a date last night. Her comments were - has he got baggage, is he bald, and when I said he was younger than my XH, she said 'thank goodness for that'. Thank god for this thread and support x

piratecat · 20/03/2010 12:29

sponge, yes, remember my tooth man incident lol!!!!

beware no teeth in pics is one of our rules isn't it now!!!

Monty100 · 20/03/2010 13:07

SM01 - do you mean you told your mum last night that you're going on a date tonight??

Pirate - lol toothman.

Ninah - I'm off to pick up some food and will do a couple of charity shops while I'm out.

Have dinner in slow cooker. [halo emoticon].

DS is still AWOL.

I've asked dd to check his msn she hasn't got back to me. (She's at her friend's too!)

grr!

lou33 · 20/03/2010 13:43

Just marking my spot. Pirate I hope it all works out. Louison,i am sorry to hear your news.

Its a quiet rainy day today. Muddy puppy and a sleepy boris here.

And yes eleven is very daring for me now. I was in bed before then last night again lol.

I should be online properly again at some point on monday so will be able to give better replies

Betty79 · 20/03/2010 15:16

SingleMum01 · 20/03/2010 16:03

hi mrs m

lou33 · 20/03/2010 16:10

Things would be rosier if the puppy hadnt just come back from a walk and promptly peed on my bed. . . .

SingleMum01 · 20/03/2010 16:56

Oh no, my date has text me asking if I want a lift and what time I need to be home - what do I say!!!! Was going to drive and meet him there so I don't have the awkward coffee moment later, especially as my mum is babysitting - give me urgent advice!

SingleMum01 · 20/03/2010 17:05

URGENT ADVICE NEEDED!!!! See above post, don't want him to think I've something to hide.

Remotew · 20/03/2010 17:10

SM01 I would do what you are comfortable with. If you don't want the awkward coffee moment then drive, or get him to pick you up and explain that your mum is home so you cannot invite him in.

At least you can have a drink if he picks you up. That would be the option for me.

Betty79 · 20/03/2010 17:47

If ur comfortable then I wud let him pick u up, like eve says at least you can have a drink. And just warn him on the way home u cant invite him in cos ur mum is babysitting in some ways at least u have an excuse to not have that akward moment imo

SingleMum01 · 20/03/2010 17:49

Thanks Eve and Betty - he's picking me up but I've already warning him my mum is sitting!

Betty79 · 20/03/2010 17:57

I doubt when u've told him ur mum is sitting he will be pushing for an invite in lol as it's prob a bit early to be meeting the parents ha ha

Betty79 · 20/03/2010 17:58

urgh ive just added someone from zoosk on my fb cos he looked ok from his vague pic on there, but he's a minger lol think i shall just delete

Remotew · 20/03/2010 21:02

Betty have you deleted yet?

Monty, did DS arrive home OK today.

Very quiet tonight, I'm half watching Titanic, got a sore throat, always the first sign of coming down with something so an early night and paracetomol for me.

piratecat · 20/03/2010 21:22

hi, it is quiet isn't it.

I am waiting for a text, and thats ALOT of fun isn't it

Remotew · 20/03/2010 21:30

Pirate, don't you just hate it? Hope he text soon.

Remotew · 20/03/2010 21:45

Just watched the car scene in Titanic!!!! . I want to fall in love and feel like that again.
