Possibly facing redundancy, although more than likely will be offered redeployment - being a single parent, would only be willing to travel a certain distance. If the worst came to the worst and I was made redundant what entitlements would I get and how much-ish. I currently get working tax credit and child care tax credit (which I couldn't live without). I presume I would get income support - how much is this? Anything else? Plus the working tax credit I presume would stop?

youd get child tax credit and income support is about £50-60 a week? cant remember... but if you go to the jobcentre website i think they have a calculator thingy majig

Also try www.entitledto.com

One thing to point out though is that if you were made redundant then you wouldn't need the child care tax credit since you would be expected to look after your own child.

Fingers crossed for you it works out.
