potential new bloke!

Bit of a weird one this. I met a bloke on facebook via an application called mafia wars. We've been chatting for 6 months now and get on really well. Recently we've exchanged numbers and have been texting and the other day he suggested meeting up for the first time. Im a little bit dubious about this, obviously because I have a child and its not something ive ever done before. Does anyone have any advice who has perhaps met someone online before? Tia xx

Have you spoken on the phone? or just texted? I'd say speak to him, if you haven't already.

After that, meet for a coffee in broad daylight in a public place. Tell a friend/sibling/someone what you are doing. Have a back-up escape plan/emergency phone call sorted out. Maybe even have the friend/sibling somewhere in the vicinity to keep an eye on you.

yeah we have had a few phone conversations, its a little bit difficult to meet because he's 3 hours away. I know what you're saying about having a friend there I'l defo be doing that incase he turns out to be a weirdo!!!
