Bascially, it's my night without ds, and I usually go out with friends, but this week my friends are skint or ill or working. The show I had up my sleeve in case this happened has sold out. So I am at a loose end. Really don't want to stay in, as do that the other 13 nights a forthnight. So I am considering just going out on my own - perhap to go see a local band down a pub or something. But it feels a bit weird, going out alone.
Does anybody else ever go out on their own??

I do, quite often go to see bands by myself if no-one else I know likes them.

ALWAYS have a good time. It's surprising how many other single people are out and about.

I go to the cinema alone sometimes too.

did it today - went to see a load of bands on my own! And bumped into people I knew, which was lovely.
Right, next time I get let down, I am going to go out alone anyway
Thanks Malovitt for spurring me on

sincitylover · 28/09/2009 13:09

Yes def have gone/would go to see band/cinema/drink outside when weather good

I guess what worries me is
a) no one talking to me or
b) only weirdos talking to me!

even though if you are engrossed in something, it shouldnt matter that noone talks to you...
