Surname, Change or keep?

Dd & Ds have X's surname.

When you split what did you do? leave the surname or change it to you're own?

Despite the fact that I dislike my ex and his surname intensely, I've kept it for the sake of DD. Nothing more. I'd hate the thought of her having the same name as him and not me and I think it would upset her. What's your gut feeling?

I think I'll keep them with ex's surname. I do prefer that, nice & simple.
