Do your dc still go their dads if they feel under the weather ??

Xp has just picked the dc up and Ds left holding his stomach saying it hurt.

I feel guilty now and am wondering if I should have told ds he didn't have to go. He didn't actually say he didn't want to go though.

I have given him some calpol and hopefully it will be something and nothing, but I know how unsympathetic xp is when the kids are ill and so I just hope ds is ok.

I will txt later and see how ds is, but i just wondered what everyone else does if their dc are not ill but just a bit off colour, do you still send them ??

yeah, its only fair xp suffers the sleepless nights when they are unwell and i catch up on the missed sleep from my sleepless nights.

my xp was always better at dealing with sick dc anyway. for some reason they always like him when they're sick.

so jammies on and off they pop as usual

Yeah i know it is only right that he does his fair share really.

Just txt him and ds is apprently fine now so fingers crossed it was nothing.

It is hard though because you so want to comfort them.

I have ds at home with d and v tday and he is in real pain, doubled over love him.
He was supposed to go to his dads but just dd went. Couldn't move him.
Suspect dd will come down with too though so I may get phonecall in the morning to say she's coming back.

He is crap with any 'weakness'

I keep them with me if they are poorly.
