Massive respect to all of you

I just wanted to say to all of you who use this board - MASSIVE respect to you.

This weekend I've been on my own looking after our 14 mth old baby (husband had to go to the UK for something - we live in Spain). It has been pretty exhausting. My parents split when I was 15 (my youngest brother was 7) so I have always had respect for single parents, but this weekend has really underlined it.

So, that's all really, just wanted to say huge respect to all of you.

Me too. I am so tired all the time from looking after my two boys all day and am so glad to get a break at the end of the day when DH gets home. My temper isn't exactly perfect either How much harder must it be when you don't get that break? And some of the best mothers I know are on their own.
