hello

me and H or should i now call him XH have split and he is moving out in 2 weeks.

so am soon to be a single parent to 2 DC,we have split in the past but got back together but this is final now as i cannot put up with his behaviour any longer.

i was hoping to ask some advice, the main thing that terrifies me is telling DS,not so much DD as she is only 5 and will take it in her stride.

How did you tell your DC,is there any "easier" way to do it?

TIA

Hi soontobefree I noticed your posts on the EA thread and wanted to say welcome.

How old is your DS? What is your soon to be XH's relationship with them like?

I don't think there is an easy way to tell them tbh (sorry) but how you handle it depends very much on their age.

I don't have too much to add to what shineon's good advice. The main thing to take from all this is that if you are happy (or at least happier/content/not treading on eggshells all the time) your children will be too - they'll be fine, honest

Couple of errors in there, hope it makes sense to you.
