Just to introduce myself...........

Hi........... ive been on MN about two years but havent even ventured over to this thread before so i thought i would introduce myself.

I am a widow of eight years my late dh was 35 years older than me, he had been ill but we hadnt expected to lose him. My ds who has special needs found him and couldnt wake him up. I have two ds's one with me Wilf he is 12 and is profoundly deaf (pics on my profile) he is at residential school all week and home with me at weekends! My oldest ds Jack is with his dad, he was born prematurely 14 years ago and lived for two hours.
I have had two relationships one where the guy slept with me, dumped me and then came back and forward like a yo yo till i said no more... then one where the guy dumped me after ten days.......... I tell guys that my ds and I come as a package......... if you dont want my ds you dont get me!

Gosh...you've had it tough! Don't really know what to say..... but now that you've posted I'm sure you'll get loads of responses.

Gosh, it does sound like you've been though a hell of a lot. I like your attitude though, you sound like an indedendant strong woman.

I always tell potential men that DS and I come as a package too.

Im up for that!! Shiny Happy People is one of my favourite songs.......... I had the great honour to appear with the wonderful Johnnie Walker on his radio 2 show a few years ago and picked SHP as one of my songs along with Life on Mars and What a Wonderful World. I was a bit cheeky actually........ JW's show is managed by a company called Wise Buddha which is owned by Mark Goodier....... anyway i applied to go on was accepted and told that they would ring me when they wanted me to go on, two weeks later my phone rings and its MG himself saying would i go on that Sunday........... I started to say yes then said wouldnt it be Simon Mayo as JW was on hols? MG said that was correct and i promptly replied that if I couldnt talk to JW i didnt want to go on! MG said he would see what he could do........ I thought i had blown it. Two weeks later a lady rings me up and asks me to go on that Sunday and I had an absolute ball talking to JW.. it was a complete privelege!!!
