Hello,

I've just found out about this and reeeeeeeeally want to book this weekend for me and my 3 yr old daughter...

But I don't drive.

We love getting the train, would anyone be able to collect us from a station nearby or advise how we could get there via public transport?!

Thanks!

Oh and one more question...

Just had a quick look on the shell island site, which says camping would be £12 for an adult for two nights in June - but the single with kids site is charging £25? Why's this?

if you call shell island in advance, they sometimes collect from llanbedr station.

SingleWithKids is £20 for the weekend, Shell Island £7.50 per night for June 09. I'd much rather pay the £5 for the organisation, games, party and company of 300 other single parents and their kids. I don't think SingleWithKids is a charity missyoung so I'd be very surprised if they organised something of this size purely voluntarily.

I booked ages ago when it first came up - I went to last year's - and I can't wait ! My kids loved it and had a great time, odd considering both hated the idea before we went DEFINITELY a case of "mum knows best"

That's what I wondered if they had lots of things going on too... well, I might just trust your recommendation and book it then!

Yeah, I think I will - woohoo, so excited, never done anything like this before
