hi,
this is just a plea for a bit of online 'help' from those of you who nkow my situation.

major dramamtics at the weekend. ex finally contacted me, has apparently had a breakdown. Is expecting me to understand, seeing as i once had one when we were married.

then his wife rang ME later in the day, expecting to chat to me, about what i am not altogether sure. A friend intervened and it seems as tho ex's wife wanted somehow to still blame me for this, for lack of cntact etc.. as you my contacts onhere know is not true.

The worst part is he told me he/they is moving, near us. dd is distraught. our little town won't be our own.it's my home ffs.

nothing for 2 yrs, no understanding on his part, he's caused dd to go into therapy, and now he's coming here. He has lost it.

I don't know your story but it sounds like a difficult situation. Do you have any kind of contact agreed?

singledadofthree · 07/04/2009 23:03

didnt know what to write as i'm lost for words.

hope it all works out for you and dd

Nontoxic · 07/04/2009 23:06

Don't know your story either but I hope someone sees this who can help.

GypsyMoth · 08/04/2009 16:46

Well you can't stop him moving, but I suppose you have some control over seeing him or not. Depends on the contact situation? Does he have any? How old is your dd? It's my worst nightmare to be honest, the ex and new doormat moving near us!!!! I sympathize!!

piratecat · 08/04/2009 17:51

hiya, yes it's mine too. he hasn't keot up the contact properly for 2 yrs. This seems like a knee jerk reaction. i am starteing to think that mayeb it wil be better at least for dd, she's 7.

I just have to think of her.

My ex lives nearby but I very rarely see him around, I have friends who seem to notice him about sometimes, and let me know of his antics, but generally it does not matter that he lives nearby.

hi, i guess it depends what sort of place you live. for me it's very rural. all villages the town i am in is tiny and will be his nearest town for shopping etc...
