Ok,so you'll come across a fair few weirdos granted,but there are alot of nice fellas on there too

Thanks ASBM, just something I've never felt the need to do before, but for past couple of years (since end of a toxic relationship) have withdrawn into my shell and know I'm giving off the 'all men should be shot' vibe! Maybe I'll feel better about it (Match.com) soon

I've been on it for a while and have had some (how shall I put it ...interesting men wink at me) I have been interested in none however .
There was one and he seemed fairly sweet till he started asking me for money!!!!!!! and I hadn't even met him !!!!. Strange but true.

Hi - sorry to butt in on this thread but need to do something to try to restart my moribund social life - so hoping some more experienced types can tell me which, if any, dating sites are worth bothering with?

Have got a profile on PoF but have to say it has not been terribly successful - tend to get replies from eager 20 somethings or messages that just say 'hello' or worse 'hello sexy' ??? Am I supposed to reply .. and if so, what?

Are there are any other sites worth trying - preferrably free or low-cost as a bit skint atm?

KDK I'm on FRD you can do a 5 day thing on your mobile to just dip your toe in the water so to speak
lots of the posters on 'fit and interesting' thread are on PoF and seem to be having a fair bit of success with it
It does take up a fair bit of your time tho whatever site you go with,I find that my interest varies according to my mood,I have never been short of offers tho!
