SV - exbf is from abt 17 yrs ago (!) he contact me in 2007 and we see each other on and off - if I am honest for him its more of asex fun thing (and its fun for me too of course but I also have strong feelings for him).

The pattern is he will be all over me and then withdraw and I keep saying I will knock it on the head but I am lured back each time. I am very weak where he is concerned.

Because its casual I do the online thing. Feeling all the frustration of everyone else. Did meet a guy that turned my head but he has disappeared.

asbm - it's not that I think he's not serious - don't know him well enough to deduce that ... just that in his last message he said a couple of things that suggested there's a lot going on in his life - also he seemed to suggest that he thought he as a single dad had it harder than single mothers.

Oh - I don't know - maybe it's just that I want to be wooed and swept off my feet and not be exchanging emails with random strangers that you aren't even sure you want to go for coffee with .. let alone anything else

that must be hard SCL. i used to be like that with my exbf, we were on and off a lot. i saw him today and felt a pang even though he looked like crap i think im lonely.

asbm - no, not so far - don't think we've both been online at the same time so far - will have to see what happens another time as he wasn't online tonight and I'm out tomorrow night.

I think I have to give myself a (virtual) kick up the butt and start being more pro-active about approaching guys I find attractive/interesting - I have been single pretty much since the dts were born nearly 5 years ago and am getting seriously fed up with long term celibacy and singledom.

Samename 1 hasn't looked at my profile again as far as I am aware. I could text him I suppose - I am free tomorrow eve as far as I know but can I really be bothered? Think I will stay in and watch Brokeback Mountain which I have had languishing for weeks - belong to lovefilm!!

yes,not too keen on certain accents for sure and a couple tho easy on the eye were height challenged for me
but as always if you're fishing in my neck of the woods send them my way!
kdk it's the only way really try and find out roughly when he's about and then instant chat him

Evening all

I have been very proactive and sent notes to four men! I thought it was more than that - felt like it

So we shall see what tomorrow brings ...

I was with my last bf for quite a while and I met him through Match but he didn't want children and I did so that was never going to be a long term thing. But now I've got my DS that takes quite a lot of time pressure off.

Thank you all for inspiring me to make a bit more effort
