Trying to work out if, when I go on mat leave and am on smp if I am entitled to any is or help in general.
Did an online form but apparently have to wait until I actually on smp to find out if I am entitled to help or not....I pointed out to the lady that while I understand its means / circumstance tested I am going to be on smp in 2 months and could do with knowing....

Try CAB or local advice centre/welfare rights officer.

I will do....I just hoped someone who worked in that department might answer the question rather than involve an external organisation!
