I recently became seperated after 10 yrs of marriage and a total of 16 years together, we met when we were 18. His reason for the split is that we have grown apart, he worked away a lot and he says he has been unhappy for the last couple of years. He still wants to remain friends, but wants to move on and have other relationships. We have a 3 yr old daughter. I feel sad, but know that I have to move on and get on with my life without him. I am thinking about severing my contact with him for the next x months - which may make moving on easier eg. I will drop my daughter off at a relatives for him to pick up. I have no friends in the Cheshire area and I am desperate to get out and have a life, I haven't been out for the last couple of years. If there is anyone that would like to meet up that lives in my area, please get in contact.

mancmum · 13/04/2005 19:34

Sorry to hear about your situation... I live in Didsbury... maybe we could sort out a Manchester meet up for you?

Janna · 13/04/2005 20:30

hello!!

I'm in Wrexham not a million miles away from the cheshire border and not too far from Manchester. I could make a manc meetup as its only about 45 minutes away.

I'm a single mum of a ds5 and a dd2 and we've been seperated on and off for a year but completely seperated now. Like you I feel sad but kow I have to move on.

Hi

I am only recently seperated and still feeling a little fragile, so I would rather meet as a small group than go to the Heaton Park one - sounds good though and if there are more arranged in the future, I am sure I will be there.
Dahlia/Mancmum/Janna if you do fancy meeting up that would be great my e-mail address is [email protected]. I know Didsbury quite well, or Sale/Altrincham, anywhere really, it would be nice to meet up. Hope to hear from you soon.
