I've been looking through a copy of our seperatation agreement from my husbands solicitor today and he's only made provisions till the kids are 18... I've asked him about helping for university fees for them and he's refused to pay (ok they probably won't go anyway, but I have to think about this).. saying his obligation ends when they are 18..
just wondered in anyone can help me out.. how have you dealt with this...
have you made any provision for your childrens further education?

the house will be sold when my son is 18 so I will have to buy another 3 bedroom house.. which will probably be imposible then anway!
I don't want him to miss out because I can't afford to fund him through uni...

Are you going to divorce your ex now?

You need a very good solicitor, do you have to sell house ? i didn't we had a settlement figure instead.
In divorce papers support was highlighted to higher education!
Your solicitor should be able to talk you through it.
