Happy Valentines Day.

Just wanted to wish all of us lone parents a happy valentines day.

I didnt think i would be bothered but its not nice seeing all my loved up friends plans for the day on facebook.I worked my last day at work yesterday as well so probanly feeling extra sorry for myself.

I did however get a card made by my boys at nursery and two sloppy kisses off the ds's this morning.xxx

Happy Valentines to you to BNM. I too got a valentines from my boys.

Its not a good day for us singletons is it. I thought I was on a night out tonight with friends, but now I'm not and will have to settle in with a bottle of wine and Ant and Dec!!!

i'm suffering from a night in with friends last night to avoid the valentines themed parties everywhere.

going to bed with dc as feel like i may collapse at any point.

I also didnt think I would be bothered by Valentines day, but seeing as it is EVERYWHERE, it kinda rubs in that I am single
But I have had a great day with ds - at least I had him today, it would have been worse if I was totally alone....
Hope everyone is holding up ok, and not too affected by it.
Perhaps we should start another good things about being single thread....

Glad everyone is having an ok time.I know it could be worse i would rather be on my own than spending it with my ex.I am going through a hard time right now and mn helps but i so miss having someone to talk to i feel like everything gets bottled up.

Anyway on a lighter note i just enjoyed watching maid in manhattan and am loving the sound of my two babies snoring in bed.

I went to Tesco at 5'ish and couldn't believe that amount of flowers, chocs & Valentines gift things that were left. I've spent the day nursing ds who has an ear infection!

I got a valentine speacial meal for two from the takeaway, just for me. It was cheaper than getting one dish plus rice and all that individually, well thats my excuse. Sat and stuffed my face till I feel like I could burst now watching Full Monty. Ah bliss.

i have stayed in doing things to my house and wathcing films with my kids, which is just how i wanted it

my besy mate asked me to go out with him tonihgt but i said no
