Ex had DD yesterday for the afternoon
Returned her on time (for once) but with a full and very dirty nappy (he hadn't changed her once)
and with a broken pushchair
Leaving me to struggle into nursery this mornign with a broken pushchair and spending this lunch hour trying to get one from Oxford Street - hurrah
He didnt apologise - well why should he, he has rights dontch know

All men are gimps.
And to top it off I had to sit next to a couple who were all touchy feely on the tube on the way to work, all slurpy kisses, hair twiddles and I'll miss you more snookums.

They probably buy each other teddy bears saying "I think you're tewiffic"

I loathe life and especially men. Should I turn into a lesbian - I have always thought Angelina Jolie was quite pretty?

yes angelina is fit, but something tells me she may be somewhat unnattainable.

dont worry about the snookums slurpy couple mate, soon they will have a child and he will either leave her or cheat on her after months of lies and uncomfortable silences when he comes back from a night out he didnt tell her about drunk as a skunk and stinking of fags and perfume (not hers) and she will be wondering where it all went wrong and what happened to the hearts and flowers. Next time he does that with the nappy dump it on his doorstep. Failing that his head. And break his ankle to see how easily he gets around minus a vital piece of equipment. Or only give him the broken buggy and insist that he buys his own to take her out if he will not respect the tools you have to pay for

Next time send her off to ex without a nappy on. He'll either have to buy some nappies himself or get horribly dirty. [evil grin emoticon]

cared about DD for clarity sake not cared for me as i loathe him with a passion and wondered why i ever slept with him in the first place

i am sure that angelina would mate, jsut think she is buzy knocking off brad pitt at the moment. Damn the lucky woman. Now there is a threesome i could cope with. cant believe i put that. Seriously give him teh broken buggy. He will either fix it or go without. Tell him you just cant afford another right now and youre sorry but he broke it so he will have to accept it. Ask him how he would like wearing the same soiled pants for a day(actually scrap that - if my ex is anything to go by a week and were still not talking that bothered)

Keep the broken buggy & make sure that is the only one you ever give him. Dirty nappy one is tricky as it is only your poor dd who suffers - have never worked out how you deal with that one!
I'm sure lesbians can be just as horrible as blokes - but your choice!!!!

Definitely give him the broken buggy, even if you buy a new one and keep that for your own use.

And tell him that if she comes back with a sodden nappy again, you won't allow her to go to his again, and if he threatens you with court, tell him that you will tell the court he couldn't be bothered to change the nappy.

Then of course, he'll start whingeing about being denied access; but he will possibly change her nappy.

The disgusting git. What a cruel way to treat a child.

been here. went to lawyers . if he doesn't look after her properly or have the correct working equipment tell him he cant have dd. x

I told my lawyer about him not changing nappy and he didnt seem to think this was an issue.

On the less positive front, My house sale has now fallen through at the last minute.
Apparently my buyer has got cold feet and let everyone know via email, not even with a phone call.

I heart life.

And is it me or do you never get support from friends and family if they perceive you as being a strong person?
Also if you are not on the breadline (not that I am Nicola Horlick rich by any means) support doesnt come easily too.

A fellow sufferer of martyr-type tendencies! Yes it is absurdly hard to get help when everyone thinks you are coping. However, I have found it even harder to accept help when I am forced into a corner & have to admit I'm not coping!!!!! Current tactic is to behave in a very blonde manner constantly & hope that people will volunteer without me having to admit one way or the other to the coping thing (God, I talk alot of rubbish!!!!!)

Just the one thank goodness though that in itself causes issues, especially to everyone I know who insists I should have more as it is not "Fair" on DD.

I have perked up considerably from last night when I was in a very angry mood - everything really does look better in the morning doesn't it

Sorry - bad explanation.

You have fellow martyr's child for the length of time agreed so she can do whatever she wants/needs to and then she does the same for you. Presumeably if you're working FT and a single parent, you get no time to yourself, so this could be a cost-free way of getting yourself a free weekend morning?

Well, I went out & dyed my hair completely & utterly bimbo blonde - think Gwen Stefani! That has really helped as people expect me to be less intelligent. I also have lowered my standards completely & have stopped trying to be seen as competent. I now just go for general ditziness. I'm late for dd's nursery, ds's school, for work etc. I do lots of random smiling & saying "so sorry". Instead of trying to understand how technical things work, I just gawp stupidly & find that people don't try to explain. A bit of stupidity is very liberating.
So people are learning to expect less but it still doesn't get the bloody loo seat fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This really is the most infuriating situation because you have to think of the lo's instead of just killing exp and it is so hard. Men always break buggys, they wont listen if you try and explain how they work (which is always simple) and they will NEVER ask for any help because it would damage their frail male ego. If you gave him the broken buggy he would probably just make your dd walk everywhere, or not even take her anywhere, and again it would be her who loses out, doesnt it make you mad.
I do still quite fancy men though - natures way of convincing us to reproduce i suppose.
