This is strictly a light hearte thread only .

What tune do you hum or sing inside your head when ex is being and arse?

For me its usualy
"...it's all about you, its's all about you baby..."
or
"..He does nothing, the boy does nothing.."

Apart from chanting twunt what's their theme tune, you know, the music that would play when they make their entrance into the film about your life.

'You Can Call me Al'.

He's was always saying I'll do this, I'll do that(as in jobs/chores around the house). And it NEVER got done!!!

He didn't like it when I sang it.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 20/01/2009 23:06

one of mine is
'I'm getting by now without you baby...'
by upbeat positive getting thru divorce one is
'Shine'
as the words say it all

aseriouslyblondemoment · 20/01/2009 23:07

the song i listened to while going through quite an amicable divorce was 'reach for the stars' s club 7. i used to force myself to sing it in front of the mirror. by god i felt better afterwards!

the other ex knob dv abuser fucker...'thankyou' by jamelia.

Lauriefairycake · 20/01/2009 23:26

"Keep on running"

EsmeWeatherwax · 20/01/2009 23:35

Ex-dp1: Motley Crue, "Bastard." I'm actually quite friendly with the guy now, but he was, and is, a complete bastard. Wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy as a partner.

Ex dp2: Heart attack and Vine. Just the vibe of the song really suited him.

Niceguy2 · 20/01/2009 23:58

Eamonn - Don't want you back!

patspeed · 21/01/2009 00:09

My x is called Eamonn

He played it in the car one day with me

expected me to be moved

WTF!!!

nissa · 21/01/2009 11:03

'Don't call me baby' Springs to mind....

Or maybe

'It wasn't me' by shaggy as this seems to be his fave thing to say when caught!

wooga · 21/01/2009 11:36

There was a song called 'lazy' (bloke from talking heads)-which made me think of ex-I always pictured that tense-jawed,sulky,frozen expression on his face when I-heaven forbid-asked him to do something!

scorpio1 · 21/01/2009 11:37

i like that song by mcfly that goes like this

its all about you, its all about youuuuuuuuuuuu baby, its all about youuuuuuuuu

so apt.

wooga · 21/01/2009 11:38

Oh,and a Pigeon Detectives one 'I'm not sorry'!

ifellforaconman · 21/01/2009 14:42

onlywantsone · 21/01/2009 16:04

Bills,bills,bills by Destiny's Child

glitterfairy · 22/01/2009 17:35

LOl this is a great thread title. So many though remind me of times with or without him.

Walk away - Franz Ferdinand - I played it all the way to the meeting where I chucked him out supported by my relate counsellor who was worried about my safety if I did it anywhere else.

You oughta know - Alanis a classic angry woman song was singing this before I chucked him out! He hated it and banned it perhaps he knew what I was thinking.

Lastly, but I could go on

Martha Wainright with bloody motherfucking asshole! Sums him up!

Wow, that was cathartic.
