A Moany Thread About Another Useless Article Of An Ex

Sorry but I need a good whinge!

Ex had the dts today, it was their 7th birthday yesterday and so he wanted to take them out today. I asked if he could take them to the barber for a haircut.

Very simple task.

They now look like a pair of army recruits. I swear if I had gone at them with a razor myself I would have done a better job. Ex whined that they always had that length but they had more hair on their heads as babies as they do now. I feel like screaming very loudly and saying something very rude.

Dts1 is upset because his hair is "ugly." I've told him it grows quickly and thankfully it does but I am so fed up I can't even ask him to do one simple task, just take one thing off my list and he f**ks up.

Not only that but every time he takes them to his house, of course the girlfriend and their baby are there but her parents always seem to show up. And this is going to sound really bitchy but they keep buying dts presents, I don't even know who they are. I would normally be quite happy for people to treat my dts but their daughter is the one who had the affair that made ex leave, these gifts feel like guilt buys. And I wonder if they (girlfriend and parents) know he is causing problems in not wanting to go for a divorce. She did me a favour and will learn that ill-gotten gains never bring good fortune.

Sometimes, I really do wish I was the type who could do some harm to him!

There you go, I've had my moan. I'll away back into my box now.

Really awful hair then. 2 or 3 weeks and it will be OK.
As for the presents, I can see how it bugs you, (and rightly so) but, sit back smugly and let them accept them, because one day your ex will do to their precious daughter what he did to you.
Revenge is a dish best eaten cold and all that, strangely the lack of divorce would to me be quite a good revenge.
2009 will be better.

twoifbysea what a great nickname

Haircuts are a bugbear of mine. Honest, in 3 weeks the dts will look as cute as anything!

keep venting!

Karma bites hard 2if. Remeber that!

My mum and exhs wife always got the kids hair cut. Always hated it. Mum always sent the kids back with a huge basin bowl type cut...and I don't want the wife touching a hair on their heads. Not since she came in here and assaulted my DD1 last year.

Just be smug, smile sweetly and I totally agree with squik.

Happy new year

Crikey Purple, is that your dc's stepmother (must not say stepmonster again in front of dts because they heard me last time - ahem!) you mean? She assaulted your dd1? I get ticked off when ex's gf simply tells my two off as that is his job not hers.

Luckily they have hair like mine, thick and wavy and very quick to grow so by the time they go back to school next week it should be a little less...well, severe looking. At the moment it looks like I gave them the old fashioned remedy for nits!

But thanks everyone. I am trying to keep with the idea that the best revenge is a life well led.
