Following on from my "Sometimes it's hard being a lone parent" thread. Me & dd (14) are both recovering from heavy colds/flu. Have no energy, walking up stairs needs a recovery period! My ds (very nearly 11) got the christmas tree & decorations down from the loft...with very little help from me. He set the tree up, I helped with the lights AND he's decorated it. I'm so very proud of my little man I could cry!
