As long as it was sent by 1st class post then the court would deem the divorce petition to have been served.

You could always get your solicitor to send out a reminder letter and another copy of the divorce petition.

The problem is I think he is lyieng{sp) through his teeth, he was supposed to write a short letter to my solicitor with prior admission to adultery, that went on for 6 months, he denied he had recieved a letter telling him to do so, so I showed him the letter (as a copy of the letter was sent to me) he then accused me of forging the letter and then it was one exuse after another as to why he had'nt written this short letter. My solicitor then agreed to send the petition without his prio admission, and surprise surprise that has apparently not turned u either.

Jese........is it too much to ask to just not be married to a cheating lowlife?
