I've done it again, I've just watched love actually-instead of a 15 certificate it should have a smug marrieds certificate ......

No, I want to be happy ones that are single and meet single people and swing each other round at airports, but I love you for yanking me back down to earth with all the bad stuff .

I had a terrible longing time last year after seeing The Holiday...

Pawslikepaddington · 23/11/2008 22:33

Must admit, I am going a bit stark raving mad after 5 years of single life, may resort to chasing down planes etc just to see if any single people fancy me . Had to hand a parking attendant some photo I.D. yesterday and he actually said "oh god, you looked much better when that was taken" . Thanks, dd was under one then!

I know how you feel. I picked my au pair up at the airport on Friday and it was full of people hugging each other. I thought I cant remember the time another adult wasd that pleased to see me

God, I saw the Sex in the City film with a mate not that long after I split with my ex.

I grizzled all the way through it, and I mean ALL the way lol.

Never again!

glitterfairy · 25/11/2008 19:47

Love actually is a ridiculous film. The whole thing is sick juxtaposing a terrorist attack with people being happy to see each other at an airport. As for hugh as prime minister LOL!

I think it is the time of year quite frankly

plantsitter · 25/11/2008 19:51

Love Actually is an evil film. I remember watching it with my mum and sister when I was single and living in a horrible flat in London and coming out of the cinema properly sobbing, 'all those people being in love and living in big flats on the South Bank'. They were quite worried but it was just that horrible, unrealistic, smug film. And Kiera Knightley, obviously.

IllegallyBrunette · 25/11/2008 19:56

I canot watch any even slightly romantic films without ebding up in tears over it. Even bloody teeny HSM and similar has me sitting there muttering about how unfair it all is LOL.

Katisha · 25/11/2008 19:56

It's a ghastly film and I find that business with the precocious drum playing boy and his love interest quite nauseating.

Mercy · 25/11/2008 19:58

I haven't seen the film (doesn't sound like the sort of thing I'd watch)

But I don't get the smug marrieds bit, waht do you mean
