How dissapointed was I when I woke this morning

It actually took me a few seconds to realise i'd been dreaming aswell, how cruel.

Could be a dream of whats coming in the future

I had a similar dream last night too.

Then i woke up and realised it would only ever be a dream! I can't imagine me ever meeting anyone half decent, that I find a little bit attractive.

I'm too used to being alone now, that I don't think i would remember how to have a relationship!

Yes thats exactly what i think aswell.

I cannot see me ever meeting anyone again and certainly can't see me ever getting into another serious relationship at all.

I hate it when people say, "you'll meet someone when you least expect it"

I haven't been expecting it for ages, and I haven't met anyone. Unless you count a man who has a daughter older than me. Or a man with obvious learning difficulties who stopped me in the street.

Well I've been single for donkey's years so its just nice wishful thoughts to stop you feeling hopeless. However, I did meet a lovely new man last night. However it's obvious its going to be fleeting.

I never managed to meet a decent man when I was young with no children and a good job and lots of friends and no baggage. I mean, I met the children's dad, but that was a mistake and tbh I think I ignored my inner voice!

So I am not expecting that it 'has' to happen. I think the odds are about 75/25 that it won't . I only find that depressing occassionally. Mostly I just accept it.
