Took the plunge tonight and met a guy off POF, FA asked me to report back so I have. He was really nice!!

Yes, we only met last night and have just spent a lovely afternoon driving around the area. Hoping to hear back and arrange to go out to dinner over the weekend.

Arggh there is often a but. He doesn't live here and is staying with a relation locally atm. Not sure how long he is sticking around. He did point out on his profile that he was only looking for friends as he is planning to do some work abroad. .

Anyway the up side is that the first person I've met of a dating site, I've chickened out of a few meet-ups, appears to be a lovely guy. .

Always a but isnt there but you never know what might happen just go with the flow and enjoy yourself

alleve don't let that put you off, often plans change and if they don't it doesn't mean that you can't keep in contact with him until he came back, enjoy.

Still waiting to hear back. Argh I hate this stage. Perhaps I've been dumped. Will just go with the flow and not read anything into it, if not.
