Should I call exp about seeing the kids?

He said he would be over this evening to see the kids but hasnt txt or rang to confrim a time which IMO is rude but also means he might just turn up.

I dont want to ring him to 'remind' him because I want him to see the kids off of his own back rather than me constantly trying to establish contact between him and the kids. On the other hand I dont want him to just turn up. I would like to know what time he will be over at if he is coming as I will make sure were in. what would you do?

To be honest i'd ring/text and ask for a time so i dont spend the whole evening on edge.

However i would make it clear that next time all details (when he's coming, what time, when he's going etc) have to be set out in advance so everyone know's where they are and you know when to have tea and have the kids ready to play by.

It also means you know whats mant to be happing and he has to remember of his own back.

Text him and give him a time that will suit you, ie 'if you are still seeing dc tonight can you come for 6pm, thanks' that way if he cant make it for then he will have to reply with another time.

Well I rang him and his gf picked up. She said he had gone to the shops but I think he was more than likely avoiding my calls and made her answer. He never leaves his phone lieing around.

What pisses me off ths most is that he has been off work all week so could have had the kids whenever he wanted to. Its not enough that he wont get a job, now he cant even be bothered to see them. I wish he would make his mind up one way or another because when they get old enough to understand it will really hurt them.

Did he come over charlotte? dont let him mess you about regarding seeing your dc, its best to arrange set times with him, email/write/text him with your suggestions (ie every other weekend, one night through the week) and tell him your willing to compromise if they dont suit him, then in future, if he doesnt stick to the set times, its not your fault and its his loss.
