I told him my app for my back was 11.30 today he did not call to say he was running late untill 11.20 after I had called him several times.

Tues he made me 10 mins late for my councilling app. I am rarely l;ate and he is making me look unreilable and late and it is not my fault, I really need to find some child care that I can rely on for dd.

This is exp I am talking about by rthe way. God I hate him and he always blames being late on his illness but he still manages to get to work and not get sacked....

well imho experience once they are out of the relaitonship they think they can do everything on their terms...

I agree.. you have to find an alternative, if he's late, dd goes to alternative.. if he can't be arsed to be on time it doesn't say very much does it

Next time tell him your app. is 30 mins earlier than it really is, i have to do this with my xp it is very annoying, but the only way i can get him to turn up on time.

I would lie and tell him appt was an hour earlier, just to be on the safe side

Tell him it's earlier than it is, and then when you are longer than he expected just say they were running late...

Or find someone more reliable if you can. Personally I feel that 'free' help is hard to come by and to make the most of it. Yes even if it is your ex who should be doing these things regardless!

tell him it is earlier, if it takes ages say you had to wait, not sure why perhaps as you were late!

It's sad though isn't it that we have to make excuses for them and nag them and coerce them when in a relationship.. then when they're not there we have to actually LIE to them to get them to do what we (as women?) would be consciencsous enough to do anyway..

..still at least we are constantly reminded why they are ex

gillybean - good idea to say they were running late, I will do that next time.

At the moment I am trying to arrange a childminder for one and a half days per week, one day for work and the other half so I can do my councilling app and back app. These are both improtant things which I need to do, and cannot be late as they are fully booked...

littleducks - he did this when we were together too but think it is worse now that we are not living together.

mascara - you are right he did remind me of one of the reasons he is an ex which is very helpful as was starting to consider getting back with him...
