We have got a voucher to get professional pics done - do you think I should ask exp to come as well?

My sister payed for us to have a professional family sitting done with a photographer. Exp and i were together at the time but have now seprated.

Not sure if I should ask him to come or not. He can pay for any prints that he wants and I can do the same.

We can both buy some of dd alone and I can buy the ones with dd and I and he can buy the pics with dd and him.

What do you think? I know he would love some pics of dd and him.

If you are ok with it,it would be a nice thing to do,and probably easier than DD having to have some more done later with Ex DP.
Would be nice for her to have as well later I guess.

I think that is a really nice idea. I wish my parents would have been so thoughtful when they split up. They would rather have chewed their own arms off than be in the same room together. Your EXP will love to have them.

well this is the thing, I think it will be nice for dd. The only thng is as it is a family sitting the photographer will expect us to have some together and I am not sure how to get out of paying for one together.

Maybe we could buy a small one for dd's bedroom.

I think you can either ring the photographer beforehand and say that he will be atking you and her and then exp and her. He shouldn't complain - after all you'll be buying twice as many as otherwise. Or you can sit for a photo altogether and regard it as a representation of how much you both love your dd and that you are still a family in that sense even if you and he aren't together.
