Elliot went off today in his new blazer he looked very smart, he said he wished his dad could see how smart he looked, there were lots of mums and dads seeing their kids off and it was hard not to cry, i have taken some photos see profile.

lovely photos OJ. I am welling up too. Thinking of you all x.

Blandmum · 03/09/2008 21:18

To my great shame I didn't. But tbh it isn't much of a jump for her, as she is in a school that goes from age 3 right up to 18. so it is in a different building, but the uniform is just about the same as the one for year 6 (skirt is a little different)

She is fine,as is ds but they have both commented that seeing the other days with the kids is hard. and I agree, it is.

your DDs school is like my kids school then only they go up to 19, Elliot is officially a senior but he goes into his old class for register and a few other things then he goes to seniors for the stuff he does well at english maths IT and science, we feel he will benefit from having the more nurturing bit of juniors.
yes there seemed to be a lot of dads around today i can't help noticing them.
we are going to menorca for half term and are planning to go away for christmas and new year, are you going away?

OJ, your son looks so proud of himself
Just read your profile page, I too am welling up and can feel how you felt today.>

Blandmum · 03/09/2008 21:35

We are going away in the half term (centreparcs in Holland for the week with mil)

Xmas will be at home. It is about the only holiday that we do spend at home. But I think we will have lots of visitors

onlyjoking9329 · 03/09/2008 21:43

holland sounds good, we are going awy for 2 weeks in october, we were going for a week in a villa but then i noticed it was only £180 extra for another week, it means the kids having a week off school but they haven't missed any school for 3 years and all things considered i think the holiday will be good for me them, school don't mind.
