Anti-depressants

Has anyone been on AD. Feeling really low at the moment and really tearful. May need to see GP re: ad, but worried about side effects.

Side effects depend on the AD that your prescribed although most make you drowsy which if your having trouble sleeping is a great thing. I was on Citalopram and didnt suffer from any side effects. I got told the most common one was dry mouth so wanting to drink more. HTH

I used prozac when I was depressed. The side effects were managable, just dry mouth and yawning really, and they changed my life for the better.

I ahve been on citalopram and it was fine, no 'real' side effects..
