my ex just says "take it out the money I give you"

I accept he gives me money but for extras like speech therapy, I would appreciate the help.

I dont ask him for money for clubs like swimming or Beavers (as I know he wouldnt give me extra) but surely for things I cannot control or that are important, he should pay?

maybe I'm being unreasonable as he says

my ex wouldnt but to me if they thought it was as important as we do then they would

my exH doesn't pay for school holidays - just moans if I decide to take time off work to be with kids & affects his weekend. It's hard to cover the 6 weeks when he only has them for 1 week. This entire school period, he had them for May half term & is having them for 1 week during summer. That leaves him with 15 days to do what he likes. I dont take holiday without spending it with DCS.

He is just being arsey about it all and refusing to pay half of the speech therapy fees which are £22 per session.

Fighting a losing battle...

it is rubbish

my ex only has dd one day at a time even in scholl hols
it makes me so mad that he does what he wants with his holiday time, where as i take mine to fit in with kids and when my mum can have them....

my friend has good arrangement they compleatly share the hols half and half

Why are you paying for speach therapy? Don't you get it free on the NHS?

My son was refered for a very short time at the local clinic and I never had to pay for it. My sister's son had speach theraphy at his school for several month, again she didn't pay for it I don't think.

My DS had speech therapy on NHS BUT he saw 2 separate people and we only saw them once a month. 2nd person went off sick & they didnt provide anyone to step in. So after 3 mths of nothing, I found a private Speech therapist who has worked wonders. ExH paid until recently (divorce now final) and so has decided not to pay anymore.

he wont have them in the holidays - when Feb half term was looming, he said "weather will be crap - stick them in holiday club" thats kind isnt it...
