Isn't it so much fun when the DC bring home sickness bugs from school and share them with you 🫣 thank goodness it's only been a 24hr bug and whilst its been "both ends" its not left me completely debilitated and I have still been able to parent!

It has left me wondering though if it was something longer lasting or worse how do you cope? I mean, I know I will because, well, you just have to don't you 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Anyusernamewilldo8963 i feel for you. Its bloody difficult doing things single handed.
My son once came home with a sickness bug on the 23rd December.....it finally stopped on new year's Eve. All four of us were ill 🤢

Oh that sounds horrific! Awful at any time of the year but always worse when its around a time of celebration. Did you have Christmas late or was it just a write off that year? I'm glad you were at least able to head into the new year recovered!
