Dc refusing to stay with Dad

One of teens no longer wants to stay at dads. What do I do? Our routine went out of sync a few weeks ago and they ended up staying with me. One of my teens preferred being at home. Only with dad eow he isn’t much help other than that. My teen who is refusing to stay has sen so finds the change in routine trickier than their sibling. Dad is not living locally either. My issue is I work from home at weekends and I get lots done when they aren’t here. Sen needs can be hard work and sometimes I just need some space and feel I am a better parent for it, I have a dp we don’t live together and try and see each other at some point on my weekend without the kids. Anyone have advice from experience?

Same situation as myself although dad's is only once a month. Have slowly started to introduce partner into more time with both of us and juggling work when I can. (Although I work around being an unpaid carer so not a huge time commitment)
