me

'no you know she's not keen on the phone, did you think of anything?'

him

'the text about...'

I think some men play thick when they don't want to answer a question direct, my ex used to do this to buy himself time to think of a quick excuse, I too used to put the phone down on him cause I knew it would wind him up

piratecat · 07/06/2008 09:47

maybe tinkerbell. He put the phone down in this case tho.

I am going away whislt the wedding happens, must admit I am pretty cut up about it. I do wonder why, because when i speak to him I think 'god you are one ugly person these days'

its not just men that do it - i dont contact my ex at all but she does it to the kids all the time. is just how some people are - i must attract the weird ones

singledadofthree · 07/06/2008 09:50

hey piratey - people never look so good when you see their true colours - must be the rose tinted goggles you were wearing.

piratecat · 07/06/2008 09:57

def was wearing them, but it's funnyhow you just don't realsie.

it's like they change so much and you don't, but you go along with it. it is very subtle.

I ache for the old him, the old friend i had in him. Yet it is not him anymore.

single dad, i can never understand how women do this, prob well naive of me. My dd's best friend in school's mother is the same as your ex, and I just cannot understand.

I think you are hurting piratecat because it will be final between you, what you need to do is speak to him every day so he continues to prove to you that he is indeed a pleb

sdo3 it might have been beer goggles she was wearing all this time and now she has sobered up, lol

piratecat · 07/06/2008 10:02

good one tinkerbel.
